Thanksgiving Eve Mass is being held on Wednesday, 11/22, at 7 PM. I believe Barb's group is covering, so feel free to come sing.
After discussions with Parish accompanists/music leaders regarding playing the piano open, the consensus was this isn't necessary. As you recall, Jonathan wanted to experiment with this a few weeks ago. The piano is mic'd from the bottom, and if other instrumentalists are playing as well, it can make it more difficult to hear each other.
Advent/Christmas update: Father opted to plan the Season without holding a meeting. Details, including music and the schedule, went out by email/Facebook. Please check these out HERE if you haven't already -- there are some special circumstances this year. Since some of this music is new/less familiar, we'll need to spend some extra time on it. Apologies in advance for monopolizing your time, but just want to make sure everything's in a good place.
Just a reminder that we have a dinner and Advent rehearsal this Saturday, 11/25, after Mass (~6:45-8:45 PM). Given that Thursday is Thanksgiving, let's tentatively plan to order in (perhaps pizza & subs?). Feel free to supplement with sides if you'd like. The music we should look at is below:
