I was at the 9 AM mass last weekend due to another commitment, so I don't have many updates.
'Bring Forth the Kingdom' is once again our Gathering and Closing song -- we'll need four people to cantor the verses. Also note that we now repeat the refrain a couple of times at the end to lengthen the song a bit, something Jim suggested a few weeks ago.
The Psalm this week is a new (but fairly easy) Haugen piece, GC 141. As far as I know, we have not had a chance to look at this and still need someone to cantor it.
Also, our Communion song for this week and next is the Taize piece 'Eat This Bread'. According to my notes, we last did this song during Lent 2014 in four parts with soloists on each verse and a guitar variant on 'Pachelbel's Cannon' as the intro.
Finally, just a quick note that I made a change to the way songs are listed below. I added a 'Materials' line under each song title for 'easy access' to any audio and sheet music on file (previously, clicking a song title would bring up an audio recording). This material can also be found on the Repertoire pages above.
Karina and I are out again this week, but should be back next week (2/14).
