The music for May has been sent to the Office for approval. If there are any changes to this week's program, I'll let you know.
UPDATE: 05/04: Father requested a few changes to our music for May. Most notably, he would like us to use Easter Gathering and Closing songs. Our Closing song for next week is new -- please take some time to go through it. Father also wanted to tweak this week's music, but since it was a bit short-notice (and I know some of you practice outside of rehearsal), I asked if we could retain the program as-is. Final selections are here.
Please note the addition of one song for a special Anointing of the Sick, which is being done at all of the weekend Masses. Healer of Our Every Ill isn't a tune we normally use, but I'm assuming most of you are familiar with it. If not, please look it over before the weekend.
The Anointing will be handled like Communion -- we'll keep the song going as long as it takes for everyone who's interested to go up for the blessing. Since this is graduation weekend on Campus, it's possible we may have a larger crowd than usual.
After some experimenting over the past few months, I'm returning to doing monthly Communion songs. The goal is to stick with songs that have repeating refrains, and since there are only so many, this should help with logistics. We may also want to consider learning some new pieces to expand that repertoire.
For Let the River Flow, there are several possibilities as far as arrangement. What we did last time is as follows (also check out the recording below). This seemed to work pretty well, so I would say let's do it the same way.

Shelley let me know that Emiyare will be out in May and part of June due to travel and a number of other commitments. I'm looking forward to having him back later this summer.
I'm also going to be out Memorial Day weekend (05/27). As a reminder, if you know what your availability looks like, please give us a heads up ASAP so we can plan accordingly. We all have a lot going on over the summer, and I want to avoid surprises.
