Last Friday, we celebrated the life of Cindy Maund. It was a beautiful liturgy with a full compliment of singers and instrumentalists. Definitely a worthy sendoff that seemed to be well-received by all.
On Saturday, we rounded out the year with another solid Mass; Bev and I also pulled off a largely piano-and-cantor liturgy for New Year's Day. A few folks from 5:30 and 9 AM also joined us.
The music for January has been sent to the Office. If there are any changes to this week's music, will let you know. The cantor schedule will also be going out this week. With the holidays behind us, music planning should return to its normal schedule (things have been a bit wonky for the past month or so).
Due to everything going on for Christmas, we didn't have a monthly dinner in December. Our next one is tentatively scheduled for 01/27. As always, if that date proves to be problematic, we can cancel/reschedule.
Stay tuned for updates on several projects that are in the works, including the new choir website (almost ready to go live) and a master contacts list.
I believe everyone is here this week, but Jim and Joe will be out on 01/13 and 01/20 for Group Therapy gigs.
