One thing we experimented with was having all of the singers stand in the first two rows rather than the second and third row. The idea was to take advantage of the microphones as much as possible (they where much more sensitive than usual). We may want to continue doing this moving forward.
Barb has a schedule conflict and is looking for some coverage for the First Reconciliation Mass on Friday at 7 PM. I'm available, but could use some help if anyone else is free?
Father will be playing recorded versions of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' (like he did last week) during Offertory for the remainder of the Advent season. Therefore, we won't need dedicated Offertory songs for those weeks.
Maggie and I where discussing the possibility of doing some pieces as preludes and/or Communion Meditations to take advantage of music we only get to do around this time of year. We have a short list to work from so far, but if you have idea ideas, feel free to let me know.
Please plan to stick around for a rehearsal after Mass on Saturday from ~7:00-8:30 PM. I'm hoping to finalize the plan for Christmas Eve this week and would like to start running music and working out logistics. More details to follow once I've nailed down a few things.
