I'm assuming most of you heard Father Charlie's Homily. The issues Father brought up have been discussed extensively at meetings, and there aren't too many easy solutions. Those of us in leadership roles don't always agree with Father's decisions, but it's easy to forget that he's in the very difficult position of running a Parish and trying to please everyone at the same time. Please keep him in your prayers this week.
Our rehearsal to go through the music for Lent, including Storrington Mass, has been confirmed for Friday, 02/17, from 6:30-8:45 PM in the Church. Special thanks to Barry for providing sheet music and audio files in advance. I'm hoping to have as many instrumentalists and singers as possible attend so we're all on the same page.
We did have a Baptism scheduled for this week, but as of Monday, this has been rescheduled. I've tweaked the program accordingly.
Tim, Maggie and I are out this week. Jim will be playing lead. Eva was planning to direct, but had a family matter come up and might not make it. If you need me for anything, please feel free give me a shout. Otherwise, I'll leave you guys to it!
