Jonathan reports that "We continue to improve the sound, it's really helpful having more instrumentalists to free up my hands. Ginny was an excellent cantor for the alleluia, I did the psalm. We practiced the prelude and we decided we needed to check to see who would make it and either cancel [postpone to another date] the prelude or get there really early to make sure we work it." We're in need of a cantor for the Psalm, which is, once again, 'This is the Day'. If interested, let me know.
I'm in the process of selecting music for May and will get that sent off to the Office soon.
There will be practice after mass from 6:30-8:30 to look at the songs for May and perhaps take a peek at a prelude I'm considering.

UPDATE (4/21): since the core group of people who worked on 'Increase Our Faith' are available, let's plan to move forward with that and give it a shot on Saturday. We'll run it as soon as everyone arrives at 4:30. Thanks!

UPDATE (4/23): I sent the music for May to the Office for approval this morning. In Barb's absence, Karen will pass it along to Father Charlie and will let me know of any revisions.
UPDATE (4/24): the 11:00 group is covering the 4 PM May 3rd Thanksgiving Mass celebrating Father Charlie's 40th anniversary as a priest. Barb has put out an open invitation to singers and instrumentalists from all groups to participate. Details went out by email.
