Since we have a Baptism, the Gloria from Mass of Creation will be used as the Gathering Song. I've gotten some requests to use something other than 'There is a Well' for the Sprinkling Rite, so how about we give Killoren's 'Living Water' a try instead? We haven't done this one in a long while, so it might be a nice change in pace.
As noted previously, Jim, Tom and Maggie are all tied up for the next several weeks. However, both Eva and Debbie, potential pianists, are available to join us. I hadn't anticipated both of them being available on the same night, so the logistics are still being worked out. Stayed tuned for an update on the plan, and if at all possible, please try to arrive on time for practice.
Also, if you'd like some extra practice time, Eva and I will be meeting on Thursday evening, 6/9, from 7:00-8:30 PM in the Church to work on music. We'll most likely be focusing on Mass Parts, but may also look at other tunes. Feel free to join us!
Speaking of new musicians, Ginny (and later, Barb) let me know that two people signed up for Music Ministry at the Time & Talent Fair. Earlier this week, group leaders were asked to put together a brief paragraph describing our choirs to give these folks an idea of which ensemble best fits their preferences. Will let you know if either of them are interested in joining us!
No practice after Mass this week.

UPDATE (6/9): Debbie let me know that she's had something come up and will be out-of-town this weekend. Eva is still available, however, and after running the program this evening, we seem to be in a pretty good place.
