Our music for August (here) has been approved with no changes. The cantor schedule for the month (here) is also ready to go.
I was in touch with Emiyare's mom Shelley last week. As you know, Emiyare started playing bass with us several months ago. Unfortunately, due to server shortages (ie being on the schedule almost every Saturday) and other comments, he's been unable to join us in quite a few weeks. Emiyare of course has an open invitation to come play anytime he's free, but just wanted to give everyone a quick update in case you were wondering.
Some of you may have received a letter from Tim about his new assignment. If you're interested in following his adventures, I believe the blog he referenced can be found here.
There's a wedding scheduled for 2:30 PM in the Church, so the start of practice may be delayed. This hasn't been an issue in the past, but will let you know if we need to meet elsewhere in the building until the festivities wrap up.
A reminder that Lisa's baby is being Baptized next weekend, 08/19. You might want to plan to be there :-)
